Our Experience - Millbrook Vineyards & Winery
Millbrook Vineyards & Winery combines two things we love finding during a road trip: local wine and a beautiful setting in which to enjoy it. Surrounded by the rolling landscapes of the Hudson Valley, the vineyard makes a wonderful place to slow down for a while and experience another side of the region.
We enjoyed a wine tasting during our visit, giving us the opportunity to sample several of the vineyard's wines while spending some time on the property. But the setting is just as much a part of the experience. The vineyard grounds are beautiful, so we'd recommend leaving yourself enough time to explore rather than simply tasting your wine and immediately heading toward the next destination.
That's really what we enjoyed most about Millbrook. It's not a stop that needs to be complicated. Enjoy some local wine, walk around the vineyard, take in the scenery, and relax for a while. For wine enthusiasts exploring the Hudson Valley, it's an easy addition to a day of driving through the region.
