Our Experience - Magnanini Winery
Magnanini Winery is a great Hudson Valley stop for wine enthusiasts, but our biggest recommendation comes with two very important words: Pasta Night. On Fridays, the winery combines its wines with homemade pasta served right on the vineyard grounds, turning a tasting-room visit into one of our favorite food-and-wine experiences in the region.
The homemade pasta is delicious, the wine makes a natural pairing, and enjoying both together at the vineyard gives the evening a relaxed atmosphere that's very easy to love. It's hardly a secret, though, and Friday Pasta Night can get busy. We'd still consider it completely worth planning around, particularly if good food is just as important to you as the wine.
If you aren't visiting on a Friday, Magnanini is still worth considering. The tasting room offers the chance to sample the winery's offerings and enjoy the vineyard without committing to the full Pasta Night experience. It's a welcoming stop for anyone looking to explore the Hudson Valley's wine scene.
But if your schedule does line up with a Friday evening, come hungry. Homemade pasta, Hudson Valley wine, and an evening at the vineyard are a pretty fantastic combination — and one we'd happily recommend to foodies and wine lovers alike.
