Our Experience - Color factory NYC
Color Factory was simply a really fun way to spend some time in New York City. Rather than a traditional museum where you're looking at artwork from behind a barrier, the experience invites you into a series of colorful, interactive spaces where playing with the installations is part of the point.
It's also an incredibly fun place for photos. The different rooms and installations provide all kinds of colorful backdrops and creative opportunities, and we came away with some fantastic pictures from our visit. It's one of those experiences where taking photos doesn't feel like something distracting you from the attraction—the photos are part of the attraction.
And then there's the ball pit. Because apparently giant ball pits don't have to disappear from your life simply because you became an adult. Diving into an enormous sea of colorful balls was every bit as ridiculous and entertaining as it sounds.
If your NYC itinerary is already packed with museums, landmarks, and history, Color Factory offers a completely different kind of experience. It's playful, interactive, photogenic, and doesn't take itself too seriously—which is exactly why we had such a good time.
