Our Experience - Country Music Hall of Fame

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is one of the best places to begin exploring Nashville's musical history. The museum takes you through the evolution of country music while surrounding you with an incredible collection of instruments, costumes, handwritten lyrics, recordings, and memorabilia from artists spanning generations. There's a tremendous amount to see, so give yourself enough time to explore rather than treating it as a quick museum stop.

Our biggest recommendation is to add the guided RCA Studio B tour to your museum tickets. The tour takes you away from the museum and into one of Nashville's most legendary recording studios, where an astonishing list of artists created music. Standing inside the actual studio where Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, and so many others recorded adds an entirely different dimension to everything you've just learned about inside the museum.

For us, combining the museum with Studio B made the experience feel complete. You get the artifacts and larger history at the Country Music Hall of Fame, then step into a room where that history actually happened. Even if you're only casually interested in country music, the combination offers a fascinating look at Nashville's enormous influence on American music.
